When riding abroad it can be nice to have your own bike. However, this is not always practical or cost-effective. There are a number of places to hire a bike from in Mallorca at a reasonable rate.
Depending on how long you go for it may or may not be cheaper to hire. Generally, you will be looking at around 30-50EUR per day for a road bike. If you are looking to take your own this can often cost 70EUR each way on the flight and you would also need to buy/hire a bike box.
If you are looking to complete the Mallorca 312 challenge then I would get in early with your booking to avoid disappointment. On the event weekend with 8000 riders there are no bikes left on the whole island
