Yes, you can still ride the Mallorca 312 after general entries sell out. Tour operators hold their own guaranteed entry allocations, and booking one is the most reliable route in. It is also the only route that does not involve sitting at a screen on entry day.

The 2027 Mallorca 312 takes place on Saturday 24 April 2027, starting and finishing at Playa de Muro. General registration opens on 6 October 2026. Around 8,500 riders take part, and one entry covers all three routes.

Can you still enter the Mallorca 312 after it sells out?

Yes. Tour operators are allocated entries separately from general registration, so places remain available through them after the public entries have gone.

General entries go quickly. That catches people out every year, particularly riders outside Spain who are asleep or at work when registration opens. The operator route exists precisely because the event knows international riders need a guaranteed way in before they book flights.

Does one entry cover all three distances?

Yes. The 312, the 225 and the 167 all run off the same entry. You nominate a distance when you register, but the routes split on the day, so you are not locked into the number you put down months earlier.

This matters more than people realise. It means you can enter, train properly through the winter, and decide closer to the time which distance is the honest one for the shape you are in. It also means nobody should talk themselves out of entering because they are not sure yet.

How do tour operator entries work?

Can you buy or sell a Mallorca 312 entry?

Only through the event's own marketplace on the official site. The organisers run a resale system for riders who can no longer take part, and any change of name has to go through it.

What you cannot do is buy an entry privately and ride on someone else's number. That is not a transfer, it is a swap the event has not sanctioned, and riders caught doing it are disqualified. It also leaves you uninsured and untimed on a day with closed roads and a cut-off, which is not a risk worth taking to save a few euros. If you are buying a place secondhand, buy it through the official channel or not at all.

What should a Mallorca 312 package include?

At minimum: a confirmed event entry, accommodation near the start at Playa de Muro, and airport transfers. Anything less and you are paying a premium for a booking service.

Beyond that, the things that genuinely matter on the day:

• A confirmed entry, not a provisional one. You want your place held now, in writing, rather than a promise to enter you when general registration opens.
• How close the hotel is to the start. A 6am start is very different from twenty minutes down the road.
• Bike transfer or hire. Flying a bike to Palma in April is the busiest week of the year for it.
• Guided rides before the event. Riding the opening climbs before race day is worth more than any amount of route study.
• What happens if you cannot travel. Ask before booking, not after.

How much does a Mallorca 312 package cost?

Expect a meaningful premium over booking flights and a hotel yourself, because you are paying for a guaranteed entry as well as the arrangements.

Prices vary by operator, by how many nights you take and by how early you book, and they move year to year, so check the current figures with the operator directly rather than trusting a number on a blog. Packages typically run from around four nights up to a full week.

Should you wait for general entry or book an operator now?

The honest position is that operator allocations are finite too. They sell out quietly over the winter rather than in a rush on one morning, so the risk is not that you miss a deadline, it is that you leave it until February and find there is nothing left on either route.

Keep an eye on the official resale marketplace through the winter, because places do come back into it as people's plans change.

And a Mallorca trip does not need an event to justify it. April on the island is close to perfect riding, and the climbs the route is famous for are there whether you have a number on your bars or not. Plenty of riders ride the route unsupported on their own weekend and come back for the official one the year after.

No, and waiting for one is the most common mistake riders make.

The 312 is 312 kilometres with over 5,000 metres of climbing. The people who finish it comfortably started building for it in the autumn, not in February once their entry was confirmed.
