How to Get a Ticket to the Mallorca 312

Mallorca 312 entries are sold first come, first served through an online queue. For the 2027 edition the queue opened at 10:00 UK time (11:00 in Mallorca) on Tuesday 6 October 2026. The moment you press the join button decides your place in the queue, and once you are let in you have 10 minutes to complete the form. Here is exactly what happens on the day, screen by screen, and how to give yourself the best chance.

The 2027 Mallorca 312 is on Saturday 24 April 2027, starting and finishing at Playa de Muro. The field is capped at a minimum of 8,000 riders and has run closer to 8,500 in recent years. One entry covers all three routes: the 312, the 225 and the 167.

When do Mallorca 312 tickets go on sale?

General registration opens once a year, in early October, for the event the following April. For 2027 it opened on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 10:00 British Summer Time, which is 11:00 in Mallorca. Entries sold out the same morning.

The date for the 2028 edition has not been announced yet. Expect early October 2027 and always check the time zone: Mallorca is an hour ahead of the UK, and plenty of riders have missed out by turning up an hour late.

What happens on Mallorca 312 sale day?

The queue is run by a system called Queue-Fair on the official Mallorca 312 website. This is how it went in 2026.

1. Get on the queue page before it opens

Go to the Mallorca 312 site a little before opening time. You will land on a holding page that says "This queue is not yet open", with the opening time and a countdown. The page updates itself every few seconds, so there is no need to refresh it. Refreshing does not help and can cost you time.

2. Press the button the second it appears

At opening time a button appears just below the message on that page. Press it straight away. Your position is issued first come, first served from the moment you press it, so this one click is the deciding factor. We are talking fractions of a second between riders, so be watching the screen, not making a coffee.

3. Wait in the virtual waiting room

You then move into a waiting room that shows the number now being served, your own number, and how many people are ahead of you. A progress bar fills as the queue moves.

The page may tell you that you have a low chance of getting a place. Stay on it anyway.

4. Hang on, even if your number is over 8,000

The queue number always looks bigger than the field, and for good reason. Some people join on more than one device, some give up and close the page, and some get to the form and do not finish it or their payment in time. Each of those drops a place back into the queue.

Near the end you may see a "Last available bibs" screen. It tells you that you keep the same position while the final places are processed. Stay connected until the queue has properly finished.

5. Complete the form within 10 minutes

When it is your turn you are taken to the registration form, and you have 10 minutes to complete it. Run out of time and you lose the place. The form was the same in 2026 as in previous years, so the checklist below still applies.

How do you get a good place in the Mallorca 312 queue?

There is no trick that beats the system, but there are plenty of ways to lose a place you could have had.

• Be on the page early. Have it open 10 to 15 minutes before opening time.
• Use a laptop or desktop on a solid connection. A phone can lock its screen, drop signal or switch apps while you wait. If you use one, keep it plugged in with the screen awake.
• Do not refresh. The page updates itself.
• Watch for the button. The first few seconds after opening matter more than anything else.
• Have every detail ready. Ten minutes is plenty if you are prepared and very tight if you are hunting for your passport.
• Decide your extras in advance. Jersey size, photos and engraving should be decisions you have already made.

What do you need for Mallorca 312 registration?

Have all of this to hand before the queue opens:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Passport or ID card number
• Postal address
• Date of birth
• Emergency contact: name, phone number and relationship
• Route: 312km, 225km or 167km (it is one entry, and the routes split on the day)
• Anticipated average speed (up to 24kph, then 25 to 29kph, or 30+kph)
• Jersey size (the jersey is included with your entry)
• Photo package and medal engraving (optional extras)
• One-day insurance (required unless you hold a valid licence that covers you)
• VIP upgrade (optional, added on top of your entry)

You will also be offered extra kit like bib shorts, socks and caps. Do not spend time deciding. You can buy these at the EXPO before the event.

What happened to me on sale day

I have ridden the 312 eight times and I still did not get in on the day. When the queue opened I was number 12,300, with 7,397 people ahead of me. The page told me I had a low chance, and it was right.

So I did what I tell everyone to do. That same day I filled in the waitlist form, which is the same registration form you would fill in to enter, and got an email confirming I was on the list. Two weeks later, on 20 October, the organisers emailed to offer me a place, and I registered for 2027.

That is one rider's experience, not a promise. But it shows the waitlist is a real route in, and that missing out on the morning is not the end of it.

What if you do not get a ticket on the day?

Missing out on the day is not the end of it. These routes are still open to you:

• The waitlist. Run by the organisers, free to join, and used to fill places that come back through justified cancellations.
• A tour operator package. Operators hold their own block of entries and sell them with accommodation and transfers.
• The official marketplace. Open from 1 December 2026 to 31 March 2027, where registered riders who can no longer go sell their entry to another rider.
